What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired, inerrant word of God, revealing the ruin of man by sin and his redemption through the death and shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21, Romans 3:23).

We believe in the one true God, creator of all, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Acts 5:3-4).

We believe in the absolute deity of the Lord Jesus Christ—true God and true man. He is the only begotten and eternal Son of God, miraculously born of the virgin Mary. His life was absolutely perfect and sinless (John 1:1, John 1:14-18, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 Peter 2:22-24).

We believe Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for sin. By dying on the cross and shedding His blood, Jesus eternally paid the penalty for sin and completed the work of redemption. God attested to His finished work by raising Him from the dead (John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12, Romans 3:24).

We believe in the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. All who repent of their sin and put their trust in Him receive eternal life, are “born again”, and become members of His church (Romans 3:21-26, Ephesians 1:7). We believe in the imminent and personal return of Christ for His church (John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18).
